“The human body is not an instrument to be used, but a realm of one’s being to be experienced, explored, enriched and, thereby, educated.”

I believe in the power of your innate body-psyche wisdom, and tapping into it to guide you. I approach the therapeutic process with a holistic health lens, focusing on mind-body-spirit wellness; they are all connected and all matter.

My background and training is in early childhood development, mindfulness, meditation practices, and somatic psychology. I believe in processing and healing past wounds, while also working with the body and what is coming up in the present moment.

I’ve been practicing psychotherapy in the Bay Area for over 10 years. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients, helping them to become empowered and find a sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives and relationships.

I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, gender identity questions, life transitions, work/career changes, eating patterns/body image, addiction, and everyday stressors.

My main orientation is psychodynamic, working on self-awareness and looking at ways we have learned to relate to ourselves, others and the world. I also incorporate mindfulness practices and work somatically, drawing on various body-oriented techniques. I approach therapy holistically, focusing on mind-body-spirit wellness.

In my practice I work with adults, children and families, and have experience with diverse populations including BIPOC and LGBTIQA.
